BEFORE GOING INTO REVIEW

Since few days i am regularly seeing a shortfilm in facebook with the name  "Anchor Suma Kanakala Presenting a short film “Sammathame”, Basically i dont care about the films which are coming with some celibrity supports thinking like they doesnt contain any matter in it. But Yesterday i recieved a mail from the person Revanth Korukonda saying that to share his shortfilm in my Website www.Shortcinema.in, Just shared as per his wish and also messaged him in facebook saying that your shortfilm was shared in my websites. He added in my friends list also had a small chat with him. And now the story begins...! After had a small chat with him, I had some time with me and started watching his shortfilm to say my opinion as i posted in my website.

I really fell in love with the film after watching it, And this is the shortfilm that made me to write the first review in my website too, Since several days mant crap shortfilms coming up with the Logicless and brainless concepts to just show case the director's talent to public, But here "Sammathame" is completely different, Director Revanth Korukonda has a die hard passion towards the film it was clearly shown in the film, Lets check out the rview of this film

STORY:


"Sammathame" is a thin story line which is filled with lot of emotions in it, This was written by Prasanth varma, who become very popular with his recent short film " Silent Melody". Coming to the story Aakruthi Reddy's mother arranges a match to her after listening this news in a phone She is says that she wants to meet the person directly in a cofee shop. After a 30 Mins late Revanth Korukonda comes to coffee shop to meet Aakruthi Reddy in a hurry mode. His jovial and no Seriousness nature makes Aakruthi Reddy to misunderstand him.On the first sight Revanth Korukonda fells in love with Aakruthi Reddy and proposes her. They start playing chess with some questions and once the game finishes, Aakruthi Reddy rejects Revanth Korukonda for his Unresponsible answers. And finally how Revanth Korukonda wins the love of Aakruthi Reddy with his Meaningful Answers

PERFORMANCES

Revanth Korukonda : Coming to his background He finished his masters in Mechanical engg in USA and passion towards the films made him to return India. He worked as assistant director for couple of movies also he acted in the film's like Green Signal and My Heart is Beating, But unfortunately both the movies failed at the Box office, He has a passion , He has a talent he need a perfect Dias to show case his talent to audience and the film "Sammathame" has helped him to expose his talent to Tollywood. He is absolutely looking handsome and the way he balance the Jovial and Responsible Shades in his role is Simply out standing.

Aakruthi Reddy : She is Pretty Gorgeous in this film as a Responsible and Perfect girl with the Matured Character. The way she delivered the performance doesn't make us to think that she is a debut actress. From the scene 1 she is another USP of the film that will make you to stick towards the film. Her character was perfectly designed by the director and she has 100% justified for the role she done in this shortfilm.

Screenplay, Dialogues & Direction :

Apart from acting, Screenplay, Dialogues & Direction all the three handled by Revanth Korukonda and the was he narrates the story will makes you to stick towards the film, Dialogues are Simple and Meaningful. Screenplay is one of the major highlight of the film. Locations that he selected and the wasy he narrated the story got a Rich look for the film.

CINEMATOGRAPHY : 

Camera handled by SJ.Siddarath (DFT),who did masters in cinematography at Ramnaidu school.worked as Assistant cameraman for some Independent movies. He is one of the reason to inject the feel in this film. The way he captured the screens is simply awesome.

MUSIC : 

Two Aspiring Music directors Vamshi Krishna Keys & Shiva Krishna Keys composed tunes for this film, Music is Simple and Melodious. He worked for many shortfilm in MR Productions and also now debuted with the new Feature film "Kalaya Nijama". No dought his is gonna be one of the best Musician in Tollywood. 

EDITING :

Editing of the film done by Sai babu who is a former assistant for kottagiri venkateshwer rao, worked as associate editor for the films like Kothajanta and premakatha chitram, He delivered a professional work with this shortfilm

OTHERS : 

Colourist Kalyan Chakravarthi(Digipost) and VFX & Titles by Dj Vamshi has been a Big Support for the Perfect Output
